Lake Haven Cottage: Swim dock, Game Room and Boat

We enjoyed being by the water. And fishing. Positive: Close to the water, pool table and game room. Kitchen and fridge. Fishing dock. Patio table and chairs near the water. Plenty of towels. Easy drive to things to see and downtown. Negative: Very steep to the water and steps uneven. Backing in to a tight parking spot but doable. Need a can opener. 😊

Do not stay. Unclean and broken beds. Positive: It was cute from the eye until you look closely. Negative: Hello and good morning, we appreciate your house and stay but unfortunately, we are not able to give a 5-star rating. We arrived at the house, and everything looks great! Upon showering that night we noticed that the towels were either stained or not washed because there were large brown dirt marks on them. We had four people for unfortunately 2 people had to share 2 towels and wash clothes which was not ideally. Next thing we noticed is there were hairs in the sheets and pillowcases and they also smelt like someone else has just slept on them. Also about the bed is my husband just sat on the bed and the siding broke off like it was missing screws to hold it up, so he got up to fix that and put it back together. He didn't sit back down until after showering. once him and I got into the bed together the bed broke once again and it ended up hurting his back and neck and my back in the process of it breaking, like it sent a sharp jab up and down our backs and necks. We got up to see what was wrong and we found the middle of the bed was laying on the ground 2 cinder blocks holding I'm unsure what up, and the wooden planks were not on at all. We ended up having to fix that and we slept awful. The metal rail that goes in the middle pushed the bed up at an angle and was very uncomfortable but only way for us to have a bed. We almost ended up leaving and finding another hotel to stay because of how terrible the beds were and lack of clean items as mentioned above. We did not have the option to move to the other bed as stated before we had 4 in our party to sleep. In our opinions it was not worth the amount paid for the stay. I thought I would send this in a private message to see if we could come up with a resolution instead of making a bad review on the property and preventing other people from staying or y'all losing out on money.

Positive: I love the game room. There was three arcade games, a pool table and a foosball table! There was a heater in there too for if it got to cold a dehumidifier if it got to humid. Negative: I didn't like that some of the pool ques were unusable because the pads were completely warn off.
